Fancy Art

Frame your kids' art! It does not have to be professionally done. I used 4 sheets of 12x12 scrapbook paper overlapping behind it and you can not even see the seems when it is hanging up. Then I spray painted the frame to match my decor. Done :)

Mother's Day Tea Party with Grandma

I am so glad Isaac's "Maga" came to the Mother's Day Tea party since I was kinda working the event:).

Spray painting GUN?!!! I'm in loooove!

So my husband says to me "so it looks like your really getting into painting furniture?..." i say yes. and he say " do you want me to buy the attachment for my compressor so you can spray on your latex paint?" I said "YES!" It has been love ever since!

I can't believe he was holding out on me! He doesn't like to share his tools (so he says).

I wanted to paint everything white!!! I was out there on my drive way for a  good 4-5 hrs, running in and out and sanding and painting and sanding! Man the quality of paint is amazing when it comes out of one of these babies!

Repurposed File Cabinet to Mud Room Bench!

 I have to say this is one of my favorite DIY projects I have ever done!!! I looooove the way this turned out. I got that filing cabinet FREE from freecycle and I didn't really know what I was going to do with it.
That happens a lot... I'm a little bit of a hoarder but with purpose??? I'm sure "they all say that" Anyway this was so worthwhile!

As you can see it had all the hardware in it even file folders! So I took those out and put them in my "garage sale pile" :)

This is what I had left to work with :/ I sanded my little heart out and then since I didn't have matching stain I decided to paint the weird sides with this paint...

Already a Huge improvement!

Then I cut out some beautiful vinyl with my circut that happen to match this awesome fabric I bought months ago.

See how nicely the match!

I Loooove it! Isn't it amazing? and since I already have a bench with this purpose I had my new awesome friend and neighbor in mind when I made it! I gave it to her beautiful family as a house warming present!

Michael Jackson Costume...

Well My boy is obsessed with MJ so we tried to make the thriller costume..... with no pattern....out of leather....

 All I can say is I learned a lot from this experience and I was pleased with the outcome since it was a costume after all. I broke a few needles... that was fun and scary! I am sure I cussed a few times but it was worth it because he looked sooooo cute in it!

And I Stenciled some glittery letters on his shirt, oh and I painted fabric glitter on his socks and glove ( that he did not want to wear).

He was loving the fog machine at a house we went to! They even hurried up and blasted Thriller for him and .....................
He DANCED! so cute.
