Michael Jackson Costume...

Well My boy is obsessed with MJ so we tried to make the thriller costume..... with no pattern....out of leather....

All I can say is I learned a lot from this experience and I was pleased with the outcome since it was a costume after all. I broke a few needles... that was fun and scary! I am sure I cussed a few times but it was worth it because he looked sooooo cute in it!

And I Stenciled some glittery letters on his shirt, oh and I painted fabric glitter on his socks and glove ( that he did not want to wear).

He was loving the fog machine at a house we went to! They even hurried up and blasted Thriller for him and .....................
He DANCED! so cute.

Super Easy Christmas Tree picking shirts

I just took a red shirt and I cut a green triangle out of some green scraps I had and used a small piece of brown ribbon for the trunk! Then I used a little fabric glue to hold it in place and zig zaged around the entire tree!

T-shirt Shorts

Check out these awesome shorts I made from two shirts I had in the closet! I don't know exactly how I ended up with two of the same shirt in the same size but anyway they had some stains so I decided to make them into shorts for my boy. And I love Adidas because it stands for All Day I Dream About Susana! I'm a dork I know.
I started by cutting off the sleeves and hood.

I made my own pattern by using an old pair of his shorts. I forgot to take a picture of this but I used the sleeves to add length to the shorts.

So now they are super cool shorts!

Awesome right!? Now go look in the closet for some shirts and make them into something new!

Summer Bucket List

Here goes some summer fun stuff we have been doing.....
I always make a summer list but this year I found these awesome printables on this site http://tatertotsandjello.blogspot.com/2011/05/summertime-activities-bucket-list-free.html

So I printed them out and Mod podged them to a super cute dollar store bucket!

We made some colored rock salt with koolaid so it smells good!

And we added all the colored rocks to our pink diy sand table ( an old rabbit cage we had sitting in the garage)

We made home made playdough, check out the ooey gooey lady website for some awesome recipies.

The neighbors  had fun too!

Easy Birthday Class Treat

This was one of the easiest birthday treats I ever sent in to my kiddos class! All I did was cut icecream sandwiches in half and dip the sides in sprinkles, put in a candle and done! FYI lay them on a tray lined with wax paper then you can add one more layer of wax paper on top of the first layer of treats and pile on a new layer.
